Kasa

During my time living in Tokyo, the city constantly sparked my imagination. Ideas sprung to life - sketched in journals and captured in photographs.

My first short film, ‘Kasa’, is one of these ideas: the tale of an umbrella's unlikely journey one rainy afternoon in Tokyo.

The film explores how several completely random people intersect through a common, everyday object.

After seeing this film, Shoot Magazine chose me as one of “25 Directors to Watch.” So that’s cool.
