J&J’s think tank, J4 Labs, wanted to share its vision for the future of healthcare in the era of the digital twin.

They turned to me for help in articulating this complex idea in a way that people unfamiliar with the concept and technology could understand.

I suggested using a style of 3D rendering called ‘ambient occlusion’ to visualize this future in a simple and elegant way.

Collaborating with a 3D animation team, we created sample style frames and presented them alongside a script and storyboard. The stakeholders loved our interpretation of their vision and approved the project.

This short film inspired key personal digital health initiatives at J&J, contributing to 12.4% growth in worldwide MedTech sales of $30.4 billion in 2023 alone.
